My child requested a DnD session for their 11th birthday with a set of friends with mixed knowledge of the game. I reached out to Thea who assured me this was possible. Communication and booking was effortless and she accommodated my child's requests for costumes and even dressed up herself. The day of the party she was punctual, set up the game and spent time with the children getting to know them and explaining the rules. Tween boys can be a rowdy bunch to corral but Thea exhibited patience, care and cleverly guided them through an amazing adventure. Most of all it was fun--I saw smiles, heard laughter and clapping throughout the session. The three hours flew by and I've already been asked when she can lead them through another game. As a complete beginner to D&D, I am very grateful to Thea for making my experience super fun and non-stressful. I was initially very scared of the role-playing aspect as I have a hard time improvising or acting but she really guides you along while allowing you to still be in control of your character and their decisions. She is obviously very prepared every session and even adds small touches like the perfect mood music for each scene. I am always in awe of her storytelling and how she is able to seamlessly weave together character backgrounds with the overall plot. Thea is a very supportive and patient DM. I really recommend hiring her if you are at all interested in D&D!

There aren't enough praises I can give Thea. I meet Thea at a one-shot campaign she hosted for queer folks. I had asked her to let me know if she were to ever need an additional person in a new campaign. A new campaign was created and here we are almost 1 year later into our adventure and with new friends. Thea is very patient with new players and supports them throughout the campaign with level ups and new spells. She always puts together a spell sheet for me to reference when I level up which I find incredibly helpful! In addition, she provides innovative tools to encourage role playing (which is so hard as a non-theater kid). Thea is great and you should hire her.

When I started playing at Thea's table, I was pretty new to D&D 5e, and had just come from a horrible experience with a previous DM. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous until I talked to Thea. She is so kind, patient, and is clearly so passionate about her work. She immediately made me feel at ease and continues to do so almost 2 years later. Even more than that, she is a fantastic storyteller and a brilliant collaborator. She always ensures her players are given proper agency and that their backstories (and any other information about them) are expertly weaved into the narrative. It is truly a privilege to watch her work with the minds eye of a film director (complete with discussion on camera angles and close up shots) and to be able to participate in the fantastical worlds she creates. I would recommend her as a DM to literally anyone who will listen.

Thea is a fantastic DM! She really breaths life into her homebrewed worlds that make them so incredibly fun to play in. We asked Thea to DM a one-shot for my bachelorette party. Thea is masterful at making a complex game accessible to newcomers. She thoughtfully guided my group through the practice of the D20 system without losing the nuance of the rules. Her natural storytelling, silly voices, and gripping cliffhangers made for a wonderful evening; I would happily repeat the experience and highly recommend Thea as a DM-for-hire.

Thea ran a fun and fantastic one-shot D&D game for my birthday. I gave her several personalized requests to meet during our game. Set the game in Icewind Dale so I could reuse some or all of the content in my home game. Build a story around two PCs striving to end a curse as in The Princess Bride. Have the evil goddess Auril tempt each PC with powers for serving her. Thea met each of my requests and made my birthday game a memorable one. I look forward to my next game with our ProDM.
